Recently these 2 movies keeping advertising in TV. The girls want to watch it. guess which one they opt for?Yeah, they choose Ice Age 3 instead of Transformer. They said they are not boys and Transformer mean for boys. However long time ago, Wien did ask for one Transformer as toy. Now she change her mind..or should I say she change her target now?Anyway, we will go to cinema this Saturday for Ice Age 3. Hopefully I will not fall asleep in the cinema. I am not a cartoon person.

Note : first H1N1 found in Melaka yesterday. It is a girl, aged early 20+, just back from London and she stay within our housing area. Gosh….so fast comes to Melaka already. Scary!

Btw, should we wear mask while watching movie in cinema?

Wien being selected to participate into poetry reading contest 2 months ago. Her teacher gave her a piece of paper, hand written by her senior student and ask her to practice at home whenever she is free. In the class, occasionally her senior will come over and teach those selected student to read and also some face expression as presentation. My SIL#3 also spent some time to teach Wien whenever she is at my house.

Lyon also can read and present as Wien, after seeing her sister demo so many times at home. It’s cute when see her demo like her sister.

Last Saturday (replacement date) is the poetry contest day. Wien got Consolation prize among 25 of participants. She is still very excited even though she aimed to get 1st prize. To us, she is doing very well already; she still can enjoy lot of contests in her coming school life! 加油！

Recently most of my family members attacked by stomach flu again…I am tire of cleaning….

Lyon is the first victim. She got it last Tuesday when school re-open on 2nd day. Vomit-diarrhea-vomit-diarrhea….repeating the whole day and night. Quickly brought her to see dr, other wise it might spread to Wien soon.

Lucky the next day she recover (stop vomiting but still got loose stool) but appetite drop tremendously. Her double and rosy cheek gone very fast. Even her favorite Vitagen/Yakult also cannot finish. *sigh* Anyway I am glad she is ok, at least I no need to clean her anymore.

But after 2 days, Wien’s turn. Again, same sickness, vomit and diarrhea. Then follow by MIL too…..after another day, my FIL…my goodness, almost everyone got it now…except me and hub. Let’s see who is the strongest now!

While typing this, hub buzz me via msn. Told me he is having diarrhea now. Sh*t!!

He already visited his in house panel dr, hopefully he would not spread to me….*keeping my finger cross now*!

2 weeks school holiday, my blog on holiday and myself also on holiday.

Almost everyday I wake up nearly to 8am! Wow, syok man! I have enough sleep throughout the 2 weeks. No need to wake up early to mind the kids, can sleep in late too! Poor hubby, still go through the same routine coz his work station further than me.

Too bad, my holiday going to finish soon. *sob sob*

This break, we brought the kids to KL again. This round our main intention is to visit Aquaria KLCC. Been to KL so many times but yet to visit this underwater world aquarium. We stayed a night at Damansara hotel coz I want to buy some fabric inventory at Kamdar; day trip will be very rush for me. You can view my fabric victory at HERE.

Hubby took lot of pictures inside the aquaria, me lazy to upload here…lazy bug attack me now! It is another fun trip for the kids too!

Next school break in August, we are going to Cameron Highland. Yeah!

….countless time for me and hubby but will be the first time for the girls!

Something different for Kids Islands

Yeah….my Kids Islands has a new category now, handmade fabric bag.

During my college time, I used to carry handmade sling bag or shoulder bag to TARC or for shopping. Now I dunno where those bags are gone, also hardly sew bag for myself too.

Lately came across a fabric shoulder bag at shopping mall. It is a very simple shoulder bag but using hand sew embroidery at front. The embroidery make the bag look elegant and unique. I am so tempted to own when I first saw it hanging in the shop. However after flip the price tag, I stop my buying urge. Hahaha…..yeah, I am stingy to spend on something which I can make! Other than that it is so expensive too ! RM69.90 for a simple bag. I can sew one too if I want, minus the embroidery lar!

Since then, I planned to sew one similar bag for myself. So I tried to search for suitable fabric in my store. I found one piece which I bought from ETSY some times ago. It is a heavy type of cotton, very suitable for such bag.

Ta….da…..here is my reversible bag! Inner layer is normal cotton material. nice? Not so sale ya…….

Two compartments/pockets where I can put my handphone, keys or purse at different place. The one I saw in shopping mall only has one pocket. Now that I plan to sew some types of fabric and listed in Kids Islands. I may sew bags, pouch, pencil case etc, besides girls clothing.

Chinese : Paper 1 – 99%, Paper 2 – 100%

BM : Kertas 1 – 100%, Kertas 2 – 80% (lowest mark, need more more polish!)

English – 94%

Maths Chinese – 96% (expected she score this subject!)

Maths English – 100% (Yeah!)

Science Chinese – 92%

Science English – 92%

Moral – 100%

PJ – 94% (this subject also got test! Weird! anyway it is a objective paper, can tikam…:lol: )

…her BM really need more practice and reading. Most of the time she doesn’t know what she is read.

….wonder what’s her placement in her class…

More than a week did not update this blog ya, not that I am very busy, just lack of topic to blog plus the girls are having exam last week. So not much happening actually.

Lyon had collected back all her exam papers. She did pretty well and we are happy with her result too. Going to reward her soon, let her pick what she like in next shopping spree. Ain’t kids nowadays are very lucky? Compare to our time…..where got gift after exam?

3 subject that can’t get score are coloring, Chinese writing plus Science.

To UC: I think the coloring test is to test how neat a kid can do within the time frame.

Wien still has 3 paper pending to collect back, I think by this week able to see all her result. Will post about her result too.

No special celebration for this date, to me, every day is Mother’s Day. But my mom did have 2 cake, one is yummy fruit cake from my brother, another one is blueberry cake from me.

Wien has dancing performance in Sunday school on Mother’s day night. That is the best gift for me and MIL already.

Exam, exam, and exam……its exam week for all school now! Many parents busy doing revision for their children now, including me lar….

I admitted that I only concentrated on Wien so far. For Lyon, I will only ask her take out her book and read loud to me while I supervise Wien do the mock paper that I prepare for her. Kindy exam no need so stress lar…..as long as she know what she is learning is more than enough already.

However this girl of mine will come and interrupt us while we do the revision. When I just talk to Wien about her homework or test paper, she will talk with me like this:

“Wei, mummy, I also need to sit for exam ler!!”

….meaning that I also have to spend time and do revision with her lar….

Ok..ok….(That’s my answer to her most of the time.)

Mummy only have one brain and 2 hands, how to split??………so I will call hubby to give a hand, else he will read his paper relaxingly or online happily! How can??

Lyon‘s exam already started since yesterday. Writing test yesterday and coloring test today. These 2 easy lar, no need revision. Real paper for each subject will start next week.
